Note - This is an important document. We have attempted to state the terms of this Agreement in a clear and concise manner, but if there is anything the Participant does not understand or wishes to have explained, the Participant should contact us and we will try and help.

 

TOUR PRICE

Flights to and from Africa are NOT included in the cost of the voluntary experience.

 

PAYMENT

Final Payment: The balance is due a minimum of 30 days prior to your departure and a 10% deposit is required on booking.

 

CANCELLATION

In all instances you will be offered an alternative date without penalty.

All cancellations should be made in writing and sent to the address given on the application form and this should be followed up by phoning the contacts given. If a cancellation is made 30 days before departure deposit will be refunded however if a cancellation is made later than this 30 days notice period the deposit will be non refundable.

 

INSURANCE

It is a booking requirement that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance. This should be done at the time your booking is confirmed and your deposit paid. All volunteers should be fully insured against accident, all medical eventualities, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment and default. It is a condition of booking that all Participants have a valid travel insurance policy to cover the entire duration of their trip which extends to include manual conservation and volunteer work. If you are unable to provide documentary evidence of a valid insurance, your booking may be cancelled at the sole discretion of Dream Big Volunteer Ghana without any refund.

 

PASSPORT AND VISAS

It is the sole responsibility of the volunteer to ensure that all passport and visa requirements are fulfilled prior to departure. Passports must have at least 6 month validity from the date of your RETURN from Africa.

 

HEALTH

It is the responsibility of volunteers to advise us prior to departure of any specific medical conditions. Anti-malaria precautions must be taken, and these are the sole responsibility of the client. Yellow fever, Hepatitis A and B and typhoid are all mandatory and you may not be let into the Country without them. Consult your doctor or travel nurse.

By participating in a Dream Big Volunteer Ghana Program the Participant accepts that he / she will be subjected to various physical and emotional demands. Participants are aware and accept that the standard of living, including food, hygiene and accommodation in the relevant country may be below the general standards of their own country. The participant will be in an environment that is very different and must respect the African culture. If Dream Big Volunteer Ghana believes that the Participant has breeched this element we will not hesitate to send you home immediately without a refund.
